1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Nearlynx ecosystem (including our website, desktop applications, and mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Nearlynx v2 provides a suite of tools designed to connect and synchronize your personal devices (Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux) over a local network. Features include Phone Calls, SMS synchronization, SMB Drive Mount, Universal Cursor (KVM), remote mouse and keyboard control, clipboard synchronization, audio streaming, and high-speed file transfer capabilities.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Nearlynx account credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Device Pairing & Security
Nearlynx allows device pairing over local networks. You are strictly responsible for the devices you choose to pair. We strongly recommend only pairing devices that belong to you or are on trusted, secure networks.
5. Free and Pro Plans
Nearlynx is offered with both Free and Pro subscription tiers. The Free tier provides core functionalities with certain limits, while the Pro tier unlocks premium features. Detailed feature comparisons are available on our Pricing page.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
If you purchase a Nearlynx Pro plan, billing is handled securely via Razorpay as a prepaid order. Access continues for the full duration of your purchased billing period without automatic auto-debit or surprise renewals. You can manage your plan or renew manually at any time from your account dashboard.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Nearlynx to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' devices or networks.
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Nearlynx applications.
8. Intellectual Property
All software, design, text, and graphics included in the Nearlynx ecosystem are the intellectual property of Nearlynx and are protected by copyright laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the software for its intended purpose.
9. Service Availability & Limitation of Liability
We strive to ensure maximum uptime, but Nearlynx is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nearlynx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Nearlynx at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users of Nearlynx, us, or third parties.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Nearlynx after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
