Security.
Built right in.
Nearlynx v2 uses authenticated peer-to-peer cryptography, local hardware tunnels, and zero central storage to keep your devices 100% private.
100% Local Peer-to-Peer
Nearlynx operates purely over your Local Area Network (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), or wired USB cable. It functions completely even with the internet turned off. Zero packets ever touch an external cloud server.
End-to-End Encryption
Every payload — mouse movements, keystrokes, clipboard snippets, and video streams — is strictly encrypted using authenticated ChaCha20-Poly1305 with unique nonces per packet, ensuring zero eavesdropping on public Wi-Fi.
Private Calls & SMS Bridge
Phone calls, SMS threads, and contacts are bridged directly over encrypted local WebSockets and Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile (HFP). No third-party server ever reads your messages or captures your voice audio.
Sandboxed Storage & SMB Security
When mounting your phone as a native Network Drive (SMB) or browsing photos, data is read directly on-demand into desktop memory. No temporary unencrypted cache files are uploaded to any cloud storage.
Cryptographic PIN Handshake
Pairing requires a one-time 6-digit mutual PIN exchange using X25519 Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman key agreement. Even on an untrusted public Wi-Fi network, man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks are cryptographically impossible.
Cross-OS Security & Sandboxing
Nearlynx integrates strictly with native platform permissions: macOS TCC & Keychain, Windows DirectShow & CoreAudio, Linux PAM & Wayland/X11, and Android Scoped Storage with zero keyloggers or background spyware.
Your network. Your hardware. Zero third parties.
Nearlynx never runs hidden background telemetry, never proxies screen streams through relay servers, and never stores your keystrokes or phone calls.
